WHO

  • We are currently looking for a Genie (male adult role).  Think Robin Williams regarding energy and timing...
  • We also need adult women and men for many ensemble roles (there is still good stuff to hand out...you will not ONLY be in the background!)
  • We need a young person (male or female) to play Aladdin's pet Monkey Abu...agile movement and expression is essential
  • We need a gymnast (male or female) who can play the Magic Carpet  - it is a non-singing role but if this person can sing we will use your skills in this area as well

WHAT TO PREPARE

  • Please prepare an upbeat style Broadway song
  • Come wearing comfortable clothing so you will be able to do the group dance prepared by the choreographer
  • Perform an animated joke or tell a comedic story 1 minute in length (no knock knock jokes...something you can act out)
  • Be prepared to read a comedic piece at the audition as well

WHAT TO BRING

  • Acting Resume and photo - (if you don't have a resume, as we take first timers all the time, you'll be emailed an audition form upon booking your audition time .  Please have this form completed before you arrive and bring a snap shot of you as well)
  • Karaoke backtrack of your audition song (no accompanist will be provided)
