Marquee Productions is an award winning community theatre group based in Aurora, Ontario.
The Goal of Marquee Productions is to have an establishment in York Region
whose purpose is to promote and create excellence in Dramatic and Musical
Theatre. This goal also provides York Region with a wonderful attraction
for the community and for tourists, in the form of rich dramatic
entertainment.
Marquee offers performance opportunities for adults and children of all
ages. Our presentations are the highest quality of community theatre,
which enriches the lives of those on stage, and those enjoying the
performance.
We perform Subscription Series at the Newmarket Theatre, and
at the City Playhouse in Vaughan.
Marquee participates in community "spirit" events, such as Christmas
Parades, Street Festivals, and School Fairs. Marquee is proud to be a
member of the Aurora Chamber of Commence .
Marquee strides to provide a safe, educational and fun environment for
anyone in the community, who wishes to volunteer their time. Marquee is
proud to provide Community Service Hours to high school students wishing to
complete their High School requirement.
Marquee encourages open membership, regardless of age, language,
background, race, religion, gender, experience or training.
