Marquee Productions is an award winning production company based in Aurora, Ontario.
Original founder, Sheryl Thomas brings the life skills taught through musical theatre to York Region Schools. Offering big name family musicals or "Character Matters" based productions, she provides a rich, unique, and positive life skill building experience for all the students in grades 1-12.
Marquee has produced for the last 9 years the York Region Celebration of the Arts Talent Search and COA Gala events. Most recently she produced the "Growing the Arts" Gala event at Le Parc in Markham for the York Region Arts Council headlining Jim Cuddy.
Marquee offers performance opportunities for Teenagers over 14 years of age. Our presentations are the highest quality
which enriches the lives of those on stage, and those enjoying the
performance.
Marquee participates in community "spirit" events, such as Christmas
Parades, Street Festivals, and School Fairs. Marquee is proud to be a
member of the Aurora Chamber of Commence .
Marquee strides to provide a safe, educational and fun environment for
anyone in the community, who wishes to volunteer their time. Marquee is
proud to provide Community Service Hours to high school students wishing to
complete their High School requirement.
